The objective of Peabody Youth Hockey is to provide to the youth of Peabody the opportunity to learn and play the sport of ice hockey in a safe and controlled environment consistent with the existing USA and MASS Hockey Guidelines.

Learn To Skate

Sundays: 6:00 pm (by group)

Session 1: October 11, 2020 through February 14, 2021.

(10 weeks)

Final Sunday evening group 1: February 7, 202.

Final Sunday evening group 2: February 14, 2021.

 

Session 2: February 21, 2021 through March 28, 2021.

Sunday Evenings, 6:00 PM

*Limit 25 skaters per Mass. State COVID 19 guidelines

Whack A Puck

 

Saturday mornings @ 8:00 AM

(Final Saturday session 1: 2/20/2021.)

Second Session added:

Saturday mornings @ 8:00 AM

February 27, 2021 through April 3, 2021.

Learn To Skate Program

Cost: $125.00 (10 weeks) / Session 2: $75.00 (6 weeks)

Requirements: Age 3 or older 

Equipment Required: Skates, helmet with cage, gloves (not CLOTH)

     elbow & knee pads are strongly recommended.

Description:  This program is designed for children with (1) year or less skating experience.   

 

Whack A Puck Program

Cost:  $375.00 (20 weeks) / Session 2: $125.00 (6 weeks)

Requirements: Age 4 or older and at least (1) year of skating experience.

Equipment Required:  Full hockey gear (skates, helmet with cage, elbow, shin and chest pads,

     hockey gloves and a hockey stick.  Team jersey and socks provided.

Description: 30 minutes skills (agility, stick-handling, shooting and passing) followed by 20 minutes of cross ice game simulation.

Participants of BOTH programs MUST register with USA Hockey at

www.usahockey/registration.com.

USA Hockey registration has an additional fee for skaters age 7 and older.
